Efra Guerrero is a Candid, Art Photographer and Poet who blends the visual language of photography with imagism-like poetry.

Drawing inspiration from everyday people and overlooked moments, his work captures the beauty in imperfection and the poetry in the ordinary.

Efra’s art invites us to slow down, observe more closely, and find meaning in what we so often overlook.

New body of work coming soon:

Soles & Souls

Who Wears These Shoes?

i’m drawn
like jazz to smoke
like gum to the sole
to the subtle moments we overlook

the fireman’s boot,
the high heeled hush of secrets,
the broke in sneakers walking the dog
on a cracked sidewalk,
they all have something to say

no faces,
just motion,
the holy rhythm of the feet,
tap tap tap
across streets, across stories,
across the city’s rush

shoes tell the truth,
maps of memory,
beat up badges of being

and I just click the shutter,
silent monk of the sidewalk,
praying for the poetry
in every step
